Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse is needed in a facility located in Loxahatchee, Florida. This position offers the opportunity to work on a 12-hour day shift on a short-term basis. The OR Nurse will support a high-functioning surgical team across a variety of procedures in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality patient care and compliance with hospital policies.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a registered nurse, current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, OR experience, and ability to adapt quickly to the units fast-paced environment; no minimum years of experience specified
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience and ability to work independently are advantageous but not required
• Additional Information: The OR team performs procedures including laparoscopy, robotic surgery, plastic, neuro, laparotomy, urology, orthopedics, and ENT. The facility supports a staff of 35 team members with a mix of RNs, surgical technologists, OR aides, supply technicians, and administrative staff. Scrubs are provided by the unit.
