Job Summary:
Emergency Room Pediatric (ER PEDS) Nurse in an urban healthcare setting. This position involves providing high-acuity pediatric emergency care primarily during night shifts, with a focus on acute patient stabilization and management. The role requires adherence to clinical protocols and team collaboration to ensure optimal patient outcomes over a 16-week assignment.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: Nights, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BSN required; active RN licensure standard across multiple states; minimum of 2 years of pediatric emergency department experience; proficient with EPIC electronic medical record experience; ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

• Travel: Yes, travel is required for this assignment.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be within a 50-mile radius of the facility. First-time travelers will not be considered. Must be available to work 2 of the 3 holidays, with specific blackout dates from November 25 to November 27, December 23 to December 26, and December 30 to January 2. The organization reserves the right to reassign personnel within their clinical competence to other areas of practice within thirty-five (35) miles of the original assignment. No requested time off will be approved during the first two weeks of the assignment. The seasonal influenza vaccination is required, with exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons.
