Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse (RN) position in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This role involves providing patient care on a Med Surg float team within various units such as observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, and transitional care. The position offers a 12-hour night shift schedule, with floating responsibilities as needed, and requires a minimum of 1-2 years of general Med Surg experience.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour nights, minimum of 36 hours per week, with guaranteed hours up to 48 hours, and potential overtime after 48 hours.
• Required Qualifications: Active RN or Compact license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (preferred but required prior to end of orientation), 1-2 years of general Med Surg experience, venipuncture experience, experience with ports, Foley or straight catheters, stable drips, and charting experience with Epic (strongly preferred within past 2 years).
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience and Bachelor's Degree.
• Shift Requirements: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within skillset to various units, with an emphasis on adaptability and management of change.
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: None.
• Additional Information: The facility will try to keep travelers within 1-2 similar units but may float to other units as needed. Candidates should be resilient, socially adept, and able to manage time effectively.
