Job Summary:
Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU) Overland Park, Kansas. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a 25-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with a focus on critical care procedures, patient monitoring, and collaborative teamwork. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with varied clinical responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). No minimum years of experience required. Location requirements include the ability to work at the specified facility in Overland Park, Kansas.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neuro and trauma care is a plus; strong communication skills and adaptability to change are essential.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include managing open heart recovery, bedside procedures such as cardioversions, bronchoscopies, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and Impella device care. The role requires adherence to unit-specific policies, protocols, and dress code (royal blue scrubs). The unit promotes a strong collaborative teamwork environment and is working towards recognition as a Unit of Distinction with ongoing Pathway to Excellence accreditation efforts.
