Description

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Green Bay, WI. This role involves floating between various units such as observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehabilitation, and transitional care, providing critical patient care within a dynamic hospital setting. The position requires adaptability to different clinical environments and a commitment to delivering high-quality nursing services.

Job Details:

Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, up to 48 hours. Overtime after 48 hours.
Required Qualifications: Active RN or Compact license, a minimum of 1-2+ years of general Med/Surg experience, experience with venipuncture and Cardizem, proficiency with ports, Foley/straight catheters, and stable drips, and charting experience in Epic within the past 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, prior travel nursing experience preferred, NIHSS certification recommended, strong time management and resilience, social candidates.
Float: Float rotation may be required within skillset to various units as needed.
On Call/Call Back Requirements: None.
Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) and active RN or Compact license are required; NIHSS certification preferred, to be completed prior to the end of orientation.
Additional Information: Candidates must start the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer or 24 hours for a quick start.
Experience Requirement: 0-2+ years of general Med/Surg experience.
