Job Summary:
Medical/Surgical Nurse (MS) specializing in the medical surgical floor at a healthcare facility in Appleton, WI. This position involves providing high-quality patient care during 12-hour night shifts, with an emphasis on managing a diverse patient population. The role requires adherence to clinical protocols and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Start time is 5:30 PM, with potential for up to every other weekend work. Holidays are part of a rotation as needed. Missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks of absence.
• Required Qualifications: WI Registered Nurse (RN) License, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 3+ years of RN experience, recent charting experience with EPIC (within the last 2 years), and previous travel experience highly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare professionals who are resilient, adaptable to change, and demonstrate strong social skills. Experience with clinical cases such as congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, sepsis, alcohol withdrawal (CIWA), cellulitis, wound management, pulmonary interventions, neuro checks, chest tubes, cardiac dysrhythmias, and stable drips.
• Additional Information: The position involves working on a medical-surgical floor with patient ratios of approximately 1:4-6. The facility requires scrubs in black and utilizes EPIC electronic medical records. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 09/08/2026 and ending on 12/05/2026.
