Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Floor in Bryson City, North Carolina. This position involves providing patient care on a 17-bed unit within a critical access hospital that emphasizes teamwork and comprehensive inpatient services. The role requires contributing to a facility that offers a variety of outpatient and inpatient care services, supporting a predominantly adult and geriatric patient population.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with weekend rotation to be accommodated if needed.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS and BLS certifications, minimum 2 years of nursing experience, familiarity with PICC/CVC management and wound care, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a critical access hospital or Med-Surg setting preferred.
• Additional Information: This role is a contractor replacement for a contract duration from 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026. The unit does not perform surgeries but maintains 24-hour provider coverage, along with PT/OT/Speech, RT, and diagnostic services like CT, X-Ray, and labs. Dress code allows any scrub color, emphasizing comfort and professionalism.
