Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) nursing opportunity available in a short-term acute care facility located in the region. This position involves providing specialized telemetry and stroke care to adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on post cardiac catheterization and neurovascular monitoring. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional to deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, starting 09/21/2026, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment concludes on 12/21/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the state of residence (MO license accepted or equivalent compact license), with at least 1 year of experience in telemetry, stroke, or cardiac care. Certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Experience with EPIC charting system and tele patient monitoring is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with post cardiac angiograms, stroke units, and neuro/step-down nursing. Prior travel experience is a plus.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between units to provide optimal patient coverage.
• Additional Information:
  • The unit primarily cares for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including stroke, cardiac, and post-surgical recovery.
  • The patient ratio is typically 1:4-6, depending on census, with an average daily census of 29.
  • The team includes interdisciplinary support such as IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.
  • All candidates must complete required compliance modules and meet specified deadlines prior to start date.
