Description
Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-level patient care for critically ill adult and geriatric patients, utilizing advanced skills in monitoring, managing life support devices, and implementing complex procedures. The position requires adherence to clinical protocols and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a registered nurse, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least 0 years of experience in an ICU setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with patients requiring complex cardiac support, CRRT, Impella, IABP, and post-implant care; familiarity with Epic electronic medical record system; trauma level I or II experience preferred.
- Additional Information: Floating between departments, units, and facilities may be required as needed. The position involves managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, cardiac devices, and complex medical conditions, including STEMI and complex HF. Applicants should be prepared for rigorous clinical procedures and critical patient monitoring.
