Description

Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse position in Live Oak, TX. This role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced ER setting, with responsibilities including patient assessment, stabilization, and collaboration with healthcare teams. The position requires experience in emergency medicine and adherence to hospital protocols to ensure exemplary patient care.

Job Details

Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: ACTIVE TEXAS REGISTERED NURSE LICENCE; BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); PALS or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course); TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course); NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); at least 2 years of ER experience; Must have documented experience on Meditech; Ability to float as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse); Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Additional Information: The role involves performing procedures such as conscious sedation, participating in intubations, monitoring behavioral health, and managing conditions like sepsis and stroke. Compliance with hospital dress code and unit-specific policies is required.
