Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility. This 13-week assignment offers a full-time schedule of days shifts, providing an opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The RN will supervise support staff and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the care process.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift, valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift (if CIRH), minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a select medical environment is highly desired.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, and initiates discharge planning from the day of admission. Maintains accurate documentation of assessments and interventions, facilitates effective communication among care team members, and ensures safety and quality in all clinical activities. Demonstrates leadership by supervising ancillary staff, supporting team building, and assuming charge responsibilities as appropriate. Engages in ongoing professional development and strives to contribute positively to the unit's operations and patient outcomes.
