Job Summary:
Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Wilson, North Carolina. This role involves providing patient care on a medical-surgical floor within a hospital setting, with an emphasis on adult and geriatric patient populations. The position is scheduled for day shifts with a bi-weekly orientation, offering opportunities to work in a dynamic healthcare environment that encompasses surgical, trauma, and medical care services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), minimum of 2 years of RN experience, Associates degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher, valid RN license, and the ability to work in the United States
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic health record system and Med Surg nursing experience
• Additional Information: Orientation is conducted bi-weekly. The candidate must be able to schedule shifts to meet operational needs. Unit staffing includes 22 beds per unit with patient ratios of 6:1 up to 7:1. Telemetry equipment is used, and the unit manages adult and geriatric patients, including those with surgical, psychiatric, or other medical needs.
