Job Summary:
Wound Care Nurse, Operating in the inpatient setting within a healthcare facility, provides expert wound management and skin care services. This role involves coordinating clinical activities to deliver high-quality patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and adhering to all hospital policies and the Florida Nurse Practice Act. The position is urgent, with an expected start date of 09/14/2026, and requires a commitment of 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 09/14/2026 and ending on 12/12/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited or National League for Nursing (NLN)-approved registered nursing program, current Florida RN license, five years of experience in acute patient care, two years of wound care experience, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Must demonstrate strong leadership, educational skills for patients and nurses, and basic computer and data entry skills.
• Additional Information: Assumes responsibility for inpatient skin and wound care management, including clinical coordination and collaboration with physicians and healthcare professionals. Wound care experience is preferred, and strong communication skills are essential.
