Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility, based in the United States. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients, providing health teaching and counseling as needed. The position requires adaptability to float between departments within scope of competency and qualifications.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The shift timing is from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license for the state of practice, at least 1 year of nursing experience, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, ACLS certification from the American Heart Association, and a graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN degree required).
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and previous experience as a registered nurse.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for executing delegated medical functions, reviewing and monitoring therapy and treatment plans, documenting in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines, and utilizing resources effectively. May be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts and to float to other departments as necessary based on business needs.
