Job Summary
Telemetry (TELE) nurse position located in the organizations healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized patient care within the telemetry unit, focusing on patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The position requires EPIC (Electronic Patient Information Charting) experience and offers the opportunity to work overnight shifts with potential holiday coverage.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: NY State Nursing License, EPIC experience is mandatory for all submissions, current telemetry experience with at least one year of relevant practice, successful completion of an EKG test on Day 1 of orientation with a passing score of 85%, proficiency in identifying 100% of critical rhythms, critical drip and cardiovascular (CVA) experience is a plus
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working through holidays, successful re-testing if initial exam scores are between 80% and 85%, readiness to meet clinical and operational standards specific to the telemetry specialty
• Additional Information: Candidates must pass the critical rhythms identification exam to start; those scoring below 80% will have their contract canceled. Orientation includes testing and study materials provided before the start date. This position is set to begin any Monday, with an assignment end date of 12/21/2026.
