Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse working in a high-acuity, high-volume facility specializing in high-risk obstetric care. The role involves providing postpartum treatment following delivery and managing patients with diverse needs, including high-risk obstetric patients. The assignment offers flexible scheduling options with shift hours during nights and a commitment of at least 48 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission; minimum 2 years of experience in high-acuity postpartum and obstetric care; certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Magnesium Sulfate therapy, EPIC electronic health record system, postpartum hemorrhage management, Pitocin administration, Foley catheter care, and substance withdrawal management.
- Floats: Float rotation may be required between nearby sister facilities, including Issaquah Campus for postpartum and Edmonds Campus for postpartum and labor and delivery care.
- Additional Information: The candidate must be available to work a minimum of 13 or 26 weeks, with options for traveler choice. Candidates should have experience with high risk obstetric care procedures, magnesium sulfate administration, postpartum treatment, and EPIC system. Flexibility to work at least 2 years of experience in high acuity obstetric settings is required. The assignment begins on 09/21/2026 and ends on 03/22/2027, with orientation hours of 254.
