Job Details

• Position involves working in the OR specialty in an outpatient surgical center environment with a focus on preoperative care and surgical support.
• Certifications required include BLS Certification.
• Education and licensing requirements include a license to submit and willingness to wait for licensure verification.
• Experience required: a minimum of 2 years in a relevant surgical or perioperative setting.
• Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts per week, from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with weekday shifts only, no weekends or holidays.
• Rotation includes a 50-mile radius rule, with all submissions requiring a copy of the candidates unexpired drivers license.
• Candidates must have IV skills, surgical care knowledge, and experience with robotics.
• Scrubbing for all procedures, including same-day and overnight stays, is mandatory.
• EMR systems utilized include Sunrise, with a go-live for EPIC scheduled for April 1.
• Shift notes specify working days only, with no blocked scheduling, and minimal call requirements: 1-2 second calls per month, including a 24-hour call on a weekend from 7 AM to 7 AM.
• Additional notes emphasize the role as pre-op care within a surgical center environment, with specific orientation and dress code provided by the facility.
• No mandatory call or standby requirements.
