Job Summary
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Nurse specializes in acute rehabilitation care within a healthcare facility. This role involves providing individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, utilizing critical thinking and teamwork to promote recovery and well-being. The nurse may float to the Medical Care Unit and Telemetry departments as needed.

Job Details

• Position Description: Registered Nurse with prior acute rehabilitation experience, able to float to Medical Care Unit and Telemetry departments. Manage patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provide care for patients from infants to geriatrics, primarily focusing on adults and older adults.
• Required Qualifications: CA Registered Nurse license, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred; 1 year experience in an acute health care setting or acute rehab care setting; ability to work night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation, ACLS certification, knowledge of assistive devices, wound care, and IV therapy.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Ability to float to the Medical Care Unit and Telemetry as required; submission of Nursys license, certifications, and references within specified timeframes; compliance with onboarding and verification processes.
