Pediatric Float Nurse Pediatric Float, Location: unspecified. This position involves working within a pediatric acute care setting, primarily responsible for providing specialized nursing care to pediatric patients across various units. The role includes floating to multiple units and handling diverse patient populations with varying acuity levels.
Job Details
- Position Title: RN - Pediatric Acute Care (Float) w/ Clinical Resource Team Float Pools
- Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
- Dates: 12/15/2026 to 03/20/2027
- Shift Time: Nights (06:45 PM - 07:15 AM)
- Shift Hours: 12
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
- Schedule: Night shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts.
- Required Qualifications: BSN, Colorado RN licensure, 3 years of pediatric acute care experience, BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications, prior pediatric acute care float pool experience, and experience with varied patient populations including trach/vent-dependent patients.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience in a children-only hospital, strong respiratory experience, psychiatric or mental health background.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must include the exemption request form for medical or religious vaccine exemptions in the submission package.
