Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in Cudahy, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a Level IV Trauma Center, focusing on geriatric, cardiac, neuro, and general medical patients. The position offers nights shifts and is suitable for first-time travelers seeking valuable hospital experience.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, NIHSS certification; ACLS preferred. Must have experience with patient types including cardiac, neuro, and general medical, and skills such as NG tube management, Foley placement, wound care, and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Will float within the medical-surgical department or other hospital units as needed. Orientation includes a 12-hour shift on the unit to learn workflow. Weekend rotation required every other week. On-call for low census periods, with holiday coverage expected at 50%. Flexibility for low census call up to 36 hours per contract.
• Support & Equipment: EMR system is EPIC; equipment includes IV pumps, monitors, ceiling lifts, and other patient care tools.
• Other Notes: Scrub color is a solid, professional color; parking is provided free of charge. The unit is actively working on improving culture and team support.
