Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) located in the United States. This position involves providing patient care in a 15-bed Medical Surgical department, with a focus on post-surgical and acute medical cases, including ortho, urology, GYN/ONC, neurosurgery, vascular, ENT, plastics, and GI. The role requires clinical expertise and the ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Schedule: Nights shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week; shift hours are from 1900 to 0730.
• Responsibilities: RN will titrate drips including Heparin, nitro, Cardizem, and insulin, monitor telemetry, and provide comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting. RN's are required to read their own telemetry strips on remote GE monitors.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other adult medical/surgical units.
• Additional Information: The unit features Tele system monitors operated by remote technicians, and RN's will participate in one day of computer training plus 1-2 days of precepted orientation.
• Submission Requirements: Must note if clinician has previously worked for the organization; previous employment with the organization must have an end date at least 6 months prior to the submission date.
