Job Details

• Certifications: Active RN or Compact license, BLS (American Heart), NIHSS certification required prior to end of orientation, with completion through designated training at no charge to the traveler.
• Education Requirements: Associate Degree or Certificate; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Location Requirements: Must be outside a 50 mile radius of the healthcare facility.
• Years of Experience: 1-2+ years general Medical Surgical experience; experience with venipuncture and Cardizem required.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Float within skill set across observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, and transitional care units; adapt to various clinical environments as needed.
• Charting Experience: Epic strongly preferred within the past 2 years.
• Ratios: NOC shift typically 1:6, occasionally 1:7; other shifts 1:4 to 1:5 depending on the unit.
• Additional Information: The position involves floating as required, with an emphasis on resilience, effective time management, and adaptability. Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
