Job Summary
The organization is seeking an ICU Open Heart (ICU OH) Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts at a facility located on the second floor. This role involves providing dedicated cardiac and post-operative cardiac care, with responsibilities tailored to a specialized patient population. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic inpatient setting requiring expertise in critical care cardiology.

Job Details

• Position Description: The role involves working in a cardiac Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with a focus on post-operative cardiac patients, medical ICU overflow, and patients requiring ventilator and cardiac drip management. The unit is acuity adaptable with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 based on patient needs.
• Shift: Night shift, 1800-0630, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ACLS certification, NIH certification, at least 3 years of ICU/CVICU experience, and at least 1 year of ventilator/cardiac drip experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac ICU and/or step-down/progressive care units.
• Additional Information: Must pass a cardiac rhythm knowledge exam with a 90% score. Previous critical care experience is preferred, with at least 2 years of PCU/progressive care experience. Candidates should possess strong reliability, punctuality, and outgoing personality traits. The role may require floating to ICU or other inpatient units as needed.
• Schedule: Night shift from 1800-0630, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
