Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse Night Shift Location: Not Specified. This position involves delivering high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Medical-Surgical unit. The role emphasizes patient safety, efficient care coordination, and adherence to organizational standards within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.
- Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Compact state license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via American Heart Association (AHA), two years of clinical nursing experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: The RN will coordinate and implement patient cares specific to the adult patient population. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, performing clinical interventions, and participating in patient education and discharge planning. Must utilize effective communication strategies, delegate tasks appropriately, and maintain a professional, supportive work environment. The candidate will float to all Medical-Surgical departments as required, and must ensure timely documentation and quality care provision according to standards.
