Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) nurse position in the healthcare setting. This role involves providing patient care in a Medical Surgical with Telemetry unit, with a focus on working with ED HOLD patients and participating in a resource pool with float responsibilities. The assignment duration is approximately 16-26 weeks, with an expected start date of 09/21/2026.

Job Details

• Position: Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) nurse
• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Duration: 16-26 weeks, starting 09/21/2026 and ending 01/10/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid NY license or proof of application with applied date; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Epic experience from within the past 2 years; A minimum of 1 year of experience; NIHSS certification prior to start date.
• Responsibilities include float duties, working every other weekend or as scheduled to meet unit and patient care needs, and working 2 out of 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, New Year's Day/Eve).
• Additional information: Experience with Epic within the past 2 years is mandatory; all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained; comprehensive work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type is required for submission; reliable transportation is strongly recommended as public transportation is unavailable; vehicles should be equipped for winter months.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
