Job Summary
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) registered nurses are needed for assignments at two children's health care facilities in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. These positions involve providing specialized family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents requiring critical care, with responsibilities including coordinating and delivering care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

  • Position: Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Location: Potential assignments at pediatric hospitals in Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN
  • Schedule: Night shifts, scheduled as straight days or straight nights, with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, minimum 48 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, MN RN license or MN Temporary Permitted RN, BLS certification, PALS certification, and 18 months of PICU nursing experience including specific competencies related to pre-operative, post-operative, and trauma or cardiac surgical care.
  • Responsibilities: Delivering family-centered care to pediatric patients in critical care settings, utilizing the nursing process, with accountability for professional practice and collaboration with health team members.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Start Date: 09/21/2026
  • End Date: 12/19/2026
