Job Summary
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit Trauma Madison, WI. This role involves providing specialized care to critically ill adult patients in a fast-paced, Level One Trauma Center. The position offers opportunities to work with advanced life support therapies and be part of an award-winning healthcare team dedicated to excellence and innovation.
Job Details
- Location: Madison, WI
- Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS and ACLS AHA, minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, Epic experience, Wisconsin RN or compact RN license, at least 2 years of recent acute care experience in the ICU specialty, be able to pass telemetry test prior to start.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with arterial line management, emergency medications, ventilator management, managing multisystem organ failure or injury, and trauma ICU experience.
- Additional Job Responsibilities: Care for critically ill surgical, medical, and trauma patients in a designated ICU, utilizing evidence-based therapies and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Must be willing to float as needed, with a local rule of 50 miles from the facility.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet scope of practice and pass required testing with strict criteria, including telemetry assessments.
