Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) in an acute care setting, specializing in high-acuity cardiovascular care. This role involves managing patients on advanced life support devices such as ECMO, Impella, Balloon Pump, and Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD), with a focus on critical, fast-paced clinical environments. The position offers a unique opportunity to work on a busy service line that handles complex cardiovascular cases.
Job Details
- Requirements: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); at least 2 years of clinical experience in a cardiovascular intensive care environment; current licensure to practice in the designated state; no specific degree requirements; located within the service area; minimum 2 years of experience.
- Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working every other week, totaling a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The position involves working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with a focus on cardiovascular critical care, including ECMO and VAD management, in an acute division setting. Charting is performed using Cerner.
