Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Float Registered Nurse in the region. This position involves providing specialized obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic care within a 107-bed facility, serving a diverse patient population including OB/NSY and occasional surgical cases. The role requires adaptability across different units and adherence to AWHONN standards to support patient needs effectively.

Job Details

• Location: The healthcare provider operates in a facility that exclusively provides acute care services.
• Required Qualifications: Certification and licensure required to work as an RN in Kentucky; ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS certifications; 1+ year of OB/L&D experience; no minimum years of experience specified.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in OB/L&D and charge nurse responsibilities; professional personality fit.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit profile includes an 8-bed Labor and Delivery unit following AWHONN patient ratios.
  • Must have OB/L&D experience and charge experience.
  • Responsiveness to as-needed call requirements and float rotation may be required.
  • Attire is scrub, any color, no casual wear.
