Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in an acute care facility located within 50 miles. This position involves providing emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics. The ER nurse will be responsible for managing critical situations in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to float between units as needed.

Job Details

• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS.
• Education and experience: At least 1 year of emergency nursing experience, with 2 years of total clinical experience preferred.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to meet unit needs, including support to pediatric units.
• Responsibilities include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, procedural sedation monitoring, and management of trauma and stroke patients.
• Experience with electronic charting using Epic is required.
• Must be flexible to work on holidays and be able to meet the schedule needs.
• Candidates must provide two references covering at least one year within the last three years during compliance and prior to start.
• Candidates should not reach out directly to facility contacts unless for an interview arranged through the agency.
