Job Summary
Pediatric Medical Floor RN Nights the organization is seeking a qualified Pediatric Medical Floor Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment at the children's hospital located on the Anschutz Medical Campus. The role involves providing specialized nursing care for pediatric patients in a multidisciplinary environment, with a focus on complex clinical cases and advanced patient support.

Job Details

Position: RN Medical/Surgical (Pediatrics)
Location: Childrens hospital on Anschutz Medical Campus
Assignment Dates: 01/05/2027 to 04/10/2027
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 2 years of Pediatric RN experience in a large pediatric facility, minimum 2 years of specialty experience with trach/vent patients, EVD and lumbar drains, chest tubes, JP drains, central lines, TPN/Lipids, CPM/Ortho/Halo traction, colostomy, ileostomy, nephrostomy care, TBI, neuro assessments, seizure management, solid organ transplant patients, trauma, and rehabilitation patients. Certifications: BLS.
Preferred Qualifications: BSN, previous travel experience.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: This role involves working with specialized equipment such as Medfusion and Baxter Sigma IV pumps, Kangaroo feeding pumps, CADD PCA pumps, and ventilators. Responsibilities include starting IVs, managing heparin and ketamine drips, high-flow oxygen weaning, and providing respiratory support 24/7.
