Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in California. Job Details

• Position Description: Emergency Room Nurse; responsible for delivering high-quality emergency care, managing trauma and critical cases, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS.
• Education Requirements: Valid California state license; compact license accepted; minimum 1.5 years of ER experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license; 1.5 years of ER experience; ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior trauma level I or II experience; community hospital experience; interpreting dysrhythmias and managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunctions.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to float between Santa Rosa and Petaluma facilities, with flexibility to meet staffing needs. RTO requests are limited to 7 days and should be submitted upfront. Candidates are required to respond to specific questions regarding prior employment at Providence facilities and provide two recent references covering at least 1 year.
