The Telemetry Nursing position is located within a healthcare provider setting. This role involves providing safe, competent, and high-quality patient care to individuals requiring cardiac monitoring and related services. The Registered Nurse (RN) in this specialized field will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery and patient safety.
Job Details
- Position Description: Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. Essential duties include patient assessments, implementing care plans, patient education, communication with the healthcare team, and managing assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing.
- Required Qualifications: NYS RN License, BLS, ACLS, Telemetry certification, minimum 2 years of RN experience with Telemetry, Med Surg experience, 1 year of travel experience preferred, Epic experience highly preferred, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred or relevant experience/active matriculation in a BSN program.
- Schedule: Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working 11.5-hour shifts with a minimum of 34.5 hours per week.
- Additional Information: This position requires active engagement in clinical care, interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, and adherence to safety and quality improvement initiatives.
