Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Located in Southern California, this position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the emergency department based on established standards of care and the nursing process. The role includes supervising and directing nursing staff, as well as collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Job Details

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
• Acute care facility experience Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor Required
• Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), TEAM-A, or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Required
• Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation, analyzes assessment data, and develops care plans. Implements, coordinates, and evaluates care delivery to ensure safety and promote health.
• Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care. Delegates duties appropriately and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Schedule: Evenings, shift hours of 12, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
