Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in a healthcare facility located in the region. This position involves providing patient care on a 32-bed unit specializing in medical-surgical and telemetry patients, with a focus on cardiac, neurological, and general surgical cases. The role requires flexibility to float between units and campuses, supporting various patient needs during night shifts.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum of 2 years of experience; valid license to submit; located in the specified region.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Ability to titrate cardiac medication drips; pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer; successfully complete a simulated clinical lab on day one of orientation. Floating between units including Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, ICU, Cardiac Tele, and observation areas; notification of campus and unit provided 1.5 hours prior to shift.
• Unit Information: The Telemetry units require the interpretation of EKGs, with 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratios. No ICU or Intensivist in-house, with hospitalist rounds during the day and on call at night. Expect to work with PCTs, and rotate to various diagnosis including post-cath lab, post vascular procedures, CABG, neuro post surgical, and general tele cases.
