Job Summary
Operating Room Technicians specializing in surgical procedures are needed in a busy orthopedic and spine specialty hospital located in Skokie. This role involves supporting surgical teams with procedures including spine, total joint, robotics, and sports medicine, requiring recent experience with pedicle screws and ACDF surgeries.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shift, with minimum 40 hours per week.
• Certifications & Experience: Must have at least 2 years of surgical technician or operating room technician experience, including spine procedures with pedicle screws and ACDFs. Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is preferred but not required. BLS certification required.
• Experience Requirements: Two years of surgical technician experience with specific expertise in orthopedics, robotics (Mako, Rosa, Cori), and solid spine surgeries. Must have at least one travel contract completed.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be within 30 minutes of the hospital, with a minimum two-hour callback time. Experience with robotics and orthopedic spine procedures is necessary.
• Responsibilities include supporting the surgical team, maintaining sterile fields, and ensuring procedural efficiency.
• Submission Requirements: Credentials, CBC, Tspot/QuantiFERON gold test within 90 days of start, and all documentation due by the Thursday prior to the start date of 09/13/2026.
