Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Location: [Location not specified]
This role involves providing direct patient care within the operating room, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered procedures. The position requires floating between departments or local facilities within 20 miles, with a focus on delivering high-quality perioperative care during scheduled shifts.
Job Details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Certifications & Education: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License; Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); BLS certification required.
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years current experience in a large Operating Room; ability to scrub; successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
- Required Skills & Experience: EPIC, detail oriented, BLS (CPR).
- Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience with Epic, orthopedics, Ear, Nose, Throat (EENT), and/or vascular procedures; PALS and ACLS certifications are preferred.
- Additional Information: Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environments. Must be able to scrub in the OR and be comfortable floating between departments or local facilities within 20 miles.
