Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The position includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as executing delegated medical functions in a fast-paced clinical environment, primarily within the cardiac catheterization lab setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Requirements: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required), current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, and BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be preferred depending on the unit or service.
• Preferred Skills & Experience: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
• Additional responsibilities include performing health teaching and counseling, providing supportive and restorative therapy and treatment, participating in health data collection, referring patients for further evaluation or treatment, and maintaining thorough documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• The nurse may be required to float to other departments based on business needs and may also be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
