Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse, Department of Labor and Delivery Located in the specified area, this role involves providing specialized neonatal, obstetric, and high-risk labor and delivery care. The position requires a skilled nursing professional capable of managing acute obstetric scenarios and ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and newborn.

Job Details

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); and one year of recent (within the last three years) full-time experience in labor and delivery.
Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities: Providing high-quality labor, delivery, and postpartum care; demonstrating competencies in neonatal and obstetric emergency protocols; collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans; monitoring maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field; five or more years of recent high-risk labor and delivery experience (within the last two years); high-risk labor and delivery experience preferred.
Additional Information: Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided and possess ACLS certification. The start date is set for November 1, 2026, with assignment end date January 30, 2027.
