Description
Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) nursing position is located in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves providing specialized maternal and neonatal care in the labor and delivery department. The assigned shift is during daytime hours, with a schedule that includes 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 11/01/2026 and concluding on 01/30/2027. The position requires current licensure and relevant clinical experience within the past three years.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in labor and delivery, graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field, five (5) or more years of recent labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years, and high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years.
- Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate clinical competency in high-risk obstetric care and neonatal stabilization. Certification and licensure must be current and maintained throughout the assignment.
