Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift in a medical-surgical intermediate care unit. Job Details

• Location: South St. Louis County, MO (generalized for privacy)
• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Qualifications: Current RN license valid in Missouri or eligible for licensure in Missouri; BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association; 1 year of inpatient stepdown experience, including Trach and Vent experience
• Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; monitor patient progress; coordinate with ancillary departments; maintain patient rights and confidentiality; and perform duties consistent with the nursing scope and standards of practice.
• Additional Information: The role involves high-risk exposure to blood and body fluids and physical demands including lifting and repositioning patients. Flexibility for differing schedules, shifts, and days is expected. Orientation occurs on day shift, with the traveler required to be available all week.
