Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse (RN) Location unspecified. This position involves delivering high-quality nursing care within the emergency department, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. The role requires assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and maintaining detailed medical records.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; State License as a Registered Nurse (RN); 0-1 years of clinical nursing experience; familiarity with medical terminology and principles of practical nursing; excellent verbal and communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
- Responsibilities include maintaining accurate reports and records, administering medications, monitoring responses and side effects, recording medical information and vital signs, reporting symptoms or changes in condition, and collaborating with healthcare team members to assess and adjust patient care plans.
- Knowledge of care required by respective age groups and ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
- Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, lifting, and reaching, along with the ability to handle delicate medical tasks and utilize their senses consistently for assessment.
- Submission requirements include license verification, professional references, skills checklist, and candidate submission coversheet.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
