Job Summary
ICU Medical Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing specialized care in a fast-paced Level 1 healthcare facility. The role requires dedication to patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols within the Medical Intensive Care Unit during night shifts on a 26-week contract.
Job Details
- Position Description: Medical ICU RN needed for a large, Level 1 hospital. Must have dedicated Medical ICU experience. Must be able to take day 1 medications and pass an EKG exam to maintain the assignment. Practice tests requiring 80% or higher will be completed during compliance.
- Required Qualifications: Active ACLS, BLS-American Heart Association certifications; 2+ years of nursing experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit; Epic and Level 1 trauma experience; must have prior travel experience; must be separated from previous assignment for 6 or more months.
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must pass in order to maintain the assignment. Weekly orientation is required, and any color scrubs are acceptable.
