Emergency Room Pediatric (ER PEDS) Nursing position in a healthcare facility. Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree, and Experience: Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice or a valid compact RN licensure; BLS certification required; minimum of 0 years of experience in an acute care hospital or equivalent setting.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities include assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs; reviewing patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; formulating and revising care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team; providing direct patient care based on physician orders; documenting care activities thoroughly and accurately; participating in research activities and quality improvement initiatives; and contributing to a safe, efficient, and effective care environment.
