Job Summary
The Healthcare Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is based in the healthcare setting and is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients. This role involves utilizing specialized nursing knowledge to deliver quality patient care in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards.

Job Details

  • Position Description: The RN in the PCU assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs. Reviews patient history and diagnostics, formulates and revises care plans, and documents all nursing activities. Provides direct patient care based on physician orders and the nursing plan of care, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice; BLS certification; 0.0 years minimum experience; location in the designated area; and educational qualification as specified.
  • Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The role involves interaction with a multidisciplinary team, supervision of licensed and non-licensed personnel, and participation in quality improvement activities. The RN contributes to excellent patient outcomes through timely, effective, safe, and equitable care.
