Description

Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse, located at the organizations facility, is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients during the labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. This role involves supporting patients through various clinical procedures while ensuring safety and comfort throughout the maternity process.

Job Details

Certifications: BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Fetal Monitoring, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing (TN), or multistate Registered Nurse license required.
Education & Experience: Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, including prior travel experience.
Location Requirements: Must be able to circulate in a hospital setting.
Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Must be flexible to meet staffing needs of the unit. No time off approved from 09/19-10/17 due to Epic Go Live. Unit is a 14-bed labor and delivery unit with patient ratios of 1:1-2. Scrubs are provided. Float to Helping Hands in NICU and Post Partum as needed. EMR systems include Cerner and GE Centricity. Weekend shifts are required. The unit makes the schedule; IVS to interview and manager to make offers.
