Job Summary
Pediatric Medical Floor RN in Colorado Springs, specializing in pediatric medical-surgical nursing. This 14-week travel assignment involves providing patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced Pediatric Medical unit, with a focus on flexibility and teamwork.

Job Details

Position Title: RN Medical - Surgical (Pediatrics)
Shift: 12-hour Days, 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Location Requirements: Minimum of 2 years pediatric med/surg experience and RN licensure, BLS, and PALS certifications required; BSN preferred
Experience: 2 years pediatric medical-surgical experience required; previous travel experience preferred but not required
Schedule: 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks; 2 out of the 3 specified holidays (11/25-11/27, 12/23-12/26, 12/30-1/2); no on-call required
Float: Float rotation may be required, including PICU, NICU, and ED units
Additional Information: High level of competence, flexibility, dependability, pediatric experience, ability to speak up if unfamiliar with procedures, and strong team orientation are highly valued. The unit is resource- and charge nurse-driven, with minimal patient assignments, and the manager is available for questions.
