Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse Dayshift High Risk Cardiology Unit. This position involves providing specialized care for adult cardiac patients, including postoperative open-heart patients, sheath pulls, and tracheostomies, within a busy acute care hospital setting. The role requires managing cardiac drips, central lines, and telemetry monitoring to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, from 10/05/2026 to 01/04/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Current license in the applicable state, ACLS and BLS certifications, 2 years of experience in telemetry or cardiac nursing, experience with cardiac drips, sheath pulls, central line management, and post-op open heart patients.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing high-risk cardiology patients and working in a similar acute care environment.
- Responsibilities: Care for adult cardiac patients, administer cardiac drips (no titration), manage sheath pulls and central lines, monitor telemetry, recognize and interpret dysrhythmias, and follow all safety protocols including PPE and isolation precautions.
- Additional Information: All clinicians may float within scope to meet facility needs. No local candidates within 75 miles are accepted; practice within the specified open units and support interdisciplinary teams.
