Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Michigan. This position involves providing high-quality perioperative nursing care in a surgical setting. The RN will assess patient needs before and during procedures, develop and implement care plans, and ensure patient safety throughout surgical interventions. Leadership within the OR team and effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary staff are essential components of this role.

Job Details

• Certifications: Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Education/Experience Requirements: Current Michigan or MIL license, minimum of 2 years of RN OR experience, recent travel work experience highly preferred, proficient in orthopedics, vascular, neurology, general/gynecology, and urology surgeries, Level 2 trauma experience required
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and adjusting care plans, supervising OR activities, coordinating schedule changes, assembling equipment and supplies, assisting anesthesia, monitoring sterile fields, and participating in staff development and educational opportunities
• Submission requirements: Skills checklist current within the past year, two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years, active Michigan/MIL license, and BLS certification
• Float: Float rotation may be required
