Job Details

• Position Description: This role involves assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. It requires review of patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, and the formulation of individualized care plans. The nurse will implement, coordinate, delegate, and supervise care activities, ensuring adherence to policies, standards of care, and regulatory requirements.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and a minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care or specialty setting.
• Shift: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The position requires interaction with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, and families to provide comprehensive patient-centered care. The nurse may participate in research activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree preferred; professional certification related to pediatric care is advantageous.
